Walter Kassoway Memorial Fund
Walter passed away while riding with his beloved Old Spokes club in the Marin Headlands on February 16, 2018. His memorial service was held at the museum on February 25th and it was a beautiful gathering attended by family and many friends. You can view his memorial program by clicking this link and his obituary by clicking this link.
The Marin Museum of Bicycling is honored to have been chosen by Walter's family as the recipient of funds donated in memory of Walter. He loved volunteering at the museum and was a regular every Thursday. He enjoyed welcoming visitors and working on various maintenance projects around the facility and grounds. He is missed by everyone who knew him.
Donations can be in any amount and can be in cash, securities, or in-kind items. The museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit so your gifts are tax deductible. The museum is currently planning an expansion into the adjacent space which will allow us to increase our displays with more gallery space, a dedicated special exhibits area, a library/meeting room and dedicated archival room. We have a WISH LIST of special needs for our expansion--click here to view. This is a project that Walter was excited about and your gifts are a fitting way to remember him through it.
We thank you in advance for your generosity and thoughtfulness towards Walter, his family and the museum.
